How to Volunteer

If you have reached this page, you are looking for opportunities to help! Thank you for considering the Santa Rosa Plateau Foundation as a place to donate your time and skills. Volunteers are the heart, backbone and strength of the Foundation and there are many opportunities for you at the Santa Rosa Plateau Ecological Reserve. As you determine the type and level of volunteerism you would like to contribute, we offer the following reinforcement as to why it is important to volunteer.

It is important to volunteer….

  • ...to play a very important role in helping deliver programs and services.
  • ...to do something outside your normal daily activities.
  • ...to contribute your skills and abilities to help make your community a better place.
  • ...to develop your leadership and teamwork skills.
  • ...to fulfill passions, i.e. love nature, volunteer at an Ecological Reserve.
  • ...to help you to continue to grow and learn (no matter the age).
  • ...for fun.
  • ...to feel great.
  • ...to educate others.
  • ...because someday you may need help and someone will be there for you.

Select the following volunteer opportunities and send an email…..someone will contact you!
